Range Rover previously announced that it would launch a new model on the market, and now he’s there! The model is called Velar. This new model will fill the gap between the Evoque and the Sport. It is the fourth model in the Range Rover family, therefore we meet everything we expect from the brand.
Velar, The name is derived from the Latin word velar which means “veil” or “cover”. The name has been used before. When the engineers had built the first prototype Range Rovers, they wanted to hide the identity of the car. They chose it as the name Velar and now he is again used for the new model.
Under the hood
The Velar will use the same engines as the F-Pace. You can choose onion 5 engines include a 180 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel and a 247 hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder.
