Maybe you are a connoisseur, you already have a decent collection or you stand as a rookie about to buy your first vintage watch. You have a model in mind, maybe even for a year. However, buying a vintage watch does not mean you buy your indiscriminately favorite timepiece.

Omega

1950 – 1960

Omega introduced its first chronograph in 1957 successfully, the Omega Speedmaster. Today, there are several models including the Omega Speedmaster Professional. A true icon and the perfect choice to start your vintage watch collection. Despite the fact that the watch has a special status that remains relatively affordable.

 

Heuer

1960 – 1970

The Heuer Autavia was initially used as a dashboard timer from 1933 to 1958. In 1962 was the make-over and it was worn as a wristwatch model. The watch comes in various models with different dials and features. Because the large supply there is always a model that suits your style. Prices vary, but the most common are affordable (and in the eyes of fans even undervalued).

 

Breitling

1960

The famous aviation chronograph Breitling: the Navitimer made his first appearance in 1952. The innovative timepiece dial was suitable for calculating flight plans. Even today it is full of praise spoken of pilots and indispensable in a vintage watch collection.

 

Tudor

1960 -1970

Tudor may be compared with the quality of a Rolex. See it as a Rolex, without the well-known crown and another branding. The Tudor Submariner is equipped with the famous Rolex caliber 390. A precise, high movement in a stylish timeless look.

 

Panerai

An addition to any collection. In the early years of Panerai, between 1938 and 1943, the brand only made 300 watches. All for the Italian Marina Militarel. The real vintage Penarai watch is, therefore, a genuine military. Remarkably, rare and very stylish.

 

Jaeger LeCoultre

1960

Jaeger LeCoultre made history in 1956 when it introduced the first automatic watch with alarm function. This watch is called the Memovox, which literally means “voice of memory, a rare piece of history and a true collector’s item.
